Dear Friends,

Since the age of sixteen, I've had the pleasure of bringing all sorts of fashion visions to life, from teenage trendsetters at my hometown mall to Fifth Avenue fashionistas at Paul Smith in New York. While these experiences were both challenging and enjoyable, my past three years at Retrospect have been most rewarding, because I am working with my passion: vintage clothing.

When you wear vintage, you aren't just wearing a polyester paisley button-down, you are bringing a piece of fashion history to life. While this can be tricky if you aren't well-versed in the pairability of vintage, hitting the mark will bring about a show-stopper look and endless compliments. Jenn, our fashion-savvy buyer, brings in her very best finds five days a week and I am here full-time to help you find which pieces work best for you!

Whether I am in class, out at a club, at church with my family, or out to brunch, I'm always wearing atleast one gem I've found at Retrospect. What excites me most about our fresh new location is its intimate boutique feel that invites each customer to a more personal shopping experience. Sweet Surprise

I walked into work today after a long day of buying and noticed a sassy little flyer placed on our counter top.

I picked it up and realized that the picture of the vintage shoes on it were from Retro! What an honor. I asked my co-worker where it came from and he told me that when we reopened in our new location, a girl was in taking pics for her blog. I was so excited to get home and check it out.

FOUND FURNITURE

Being that we have moved into a smaller location, we are unable to sell the amazing furniture we have had in the past. I know that some of our loyal customers were totally bummed out by this, so I have decided that I am going to start a Found Furniture update for the blog!!! I will be bringing the camera with me to all of my buying locations to see if there is anything Victorian, mid century modern, or just plain old rad for sale. I will post a pic of it along with where it is being sold.

I am so super excited about this feature and I am hoping that our customers will still love us just the same.
